Sunday afternoon in the front yard
Often the most fun is had close to home. Elizabeth is so much fun and so interested in life that it refreshes our lives and the way that we look at things as well.
Yesterday, Ellie had fun just playing in the yard, exploring the grass, chasing Gregario and ofcourse getting 100% attention from mom and dad!

I'm a bit surprised that that many people are checking in but I'm glad that everyone seems to be enjoying the small window into our crazy and exciting lives. We will be sure to keep the posts coming! Family, Friends, and a Wedding!
We just got back from a long weekend out to the east coast to visit some family, friends, and attend a friend's wedding - as usual our extended weekend went by way too fast. We started out at our very dear friend Cathy's house. Cathy is the most amazing hostess! She had all kinds of fun toys for Elizabeth to play with and even rearranged her family room to make it fun for Ellie and "child proof." Needless to say, it made our stay most enjoyable and relaxing. Cathy of course spoiled both of us and Elizabeth and I think had a fun time playing with Ellie while we were at the wedding!
The highlight of our trip was introducing Elizabeth to her Great Grandmom Bunny.
Grandmom Bunny arranged a first birthday party for Elizabeth and it was so much fun to celebrate with all of our family and the nuns (although Ellie was a bit afraid of the nuns, we think due to the habit that they wear on their head)!
My grandmom is an amazing woman for so many reasons (it would take me a week to blog about that) but just to mention one of her talents: A very very Green Thumb. Every year that I can
remember, she has had the most beautiful garden.
Elizabeth really enjoyed looking at the horses behind my Aunt My and Uncle John's house. She was very curious about them and it made for some great photo ops!
