Easter

Yes, I'm a bit behind the power curve on the blog.  But better late than never!  Mom and dad came out to Colorado for Easter and we had a great time.  We went to Keystone and had a blast.  Elizabeth really liked the Alice and Wonderland crowd that we ran into but Andrew kinda found them a bit creepy (hence why he is not in the picture).  I really can't blame him although they were quite funny.  The mad hatter even had two different colored eyes.  Elizabeth was amazed!
We took the gondola to the top of Keystone and had an amazing lunch at the Alpenglow Stube, one of our favorite (my very favorite) restaurants in Colorado.  The food just tastes better when you have to travel via gondola to get to it.

Andrew and Elizabeth would have stayed at the restaurant all day, watching the "cookers" as Andrew likes to call them.

And what would a trip anywhere be without dad posing with whatever statue we pass by!!
One thing that I absolutely love about Colorado is the weather.  One day I can be in 6 feet of snow and the next day wearing a t-shirt and in the arid sun!  Beautiful! On Saturday, we headed down to Colorado Springs to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.  This is my favorite zoo of all times.  It is not very big, but it is so personal.  And considering the fact that giraffes are my and Andrew's favorite animals (and I think the rest of the family is pretty fond of them too), it doesn't get any better than this!

And what is Easter without a good old Easter egg hunt.
