Have we mentioned lately that Elizabeth just loves the zoo? What is there not to like? The day that we visited, we were one of the first people to arrive. Although it was still a little bit chilly outside, all of the animals were up and about, making all kinds of noises. Elizabeth's favorites (this week) were the lion's roar and the snow leopard's, well, roar. Very appropriate considering the fact that her favorite song this week, thanks to pop pop, is the Penn State Fight Song.
And my favorite are still the giraffes. We've always had something in common.
There are peacocks that wander freely all over the zoo grounds. This particular morning, the peacocks where definitely showing their tail feathers and Jan got some great shots! I can't get over how beautiful these bird are.
